Wow! I'm glad he made it through! He's another cat who sorta flew under the radar. A really good player who is way better than the records dictate! Many of those Maze hits were done on a P-Bass! I have his solo cd somewhere. Bought it several years back! My current band does a handful of Maze tunes. I love some of those basslines!
I have seen Maze live at least twice, and probably three times. I always thought highly of Robin Duhe. His stuff didn't blow me away, but I never heard a bad lick or a weak groove. In other words, he was a perfect fit for Maze.

Great post!!! I remember those amazing bass lines, but I didn't know who the bassist was. I'll be on the lookout for his CD. Didn't Randy Jackson also record with FB and Maze?
