She's trained to go to the door when she needs to relieve herself. I also have one named Smokey, who is a rather overweight British Shorthair who hates everything, except food.

Cobo is a 1-1/2 year old shelter rescue we brought home in April. He's adjusted to condo life pretty well, and is usually found sleeping near my assembly bench when the soldering iron is not on

| | I'm irresistible. | | Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Torrance, California | | I've got 4 kitties. 3 girls (about 5 yrs old) and 1 boy(13 yrs old).
Managed to pose 3 of them. Only have 3 basses anyway....right now. There is a 4th on the way!
Fender MIA 75 reissue: The male, shaved Himalayan (lion cut), is calm and loves music - any type of music.
Fender MIA 62 reissue: The female, Tortie kitty, is frightened but managed a quick pose before she bolted. Thought it was appropriate to put the Tortie cat with the Tortie bass.
Sadowsky NYC J/J: The female, black kitty, is pretty calm and was rubbing the case.
No photo: The 4th will never pose or get in the vicinity of a bass/guitar. She's just too frightened - being rescued from the street life, she is easily spooked.

These cats are loaners, going on 3 years now. Their owner could not take them to Hawai'i, so we took them in.
The first cat is Thea, because my daughter could not pronounce Aretha (as in Franklin).
She was not happy about the photography session.
This cat is Zippy, because he is pretty stupid sometimes, even for a cat. He also whines a lot. He puts up with my hobbies.
In both cases, they run away when ever I get out a guitar or bass. I don't even have to sing for them to leave.
And trying to get them into the same photo is pretty much impossible.
Later,
edg

Here's Simba. AKA The Orange Bastard. Worst. Cat. Ever.
Zoey keeps him in line now, though. She's a tough girl
I used to have an anti-social cat as well but she died a few years ago. (Simba terrorized her)

I must have posted one of these two already, but here's Mai-Mai & her brother Nostrils. They are nowhere NEAR as evil as they look here.

Well, the male kitty (13 yrs) passed away awhile back. One of the girls(not shown), we had to put down. Now, we have a new female kitty to accompany the remaining 2 girls. No more cats!!!
