Am I the only one who has noticed that bassists (or musicians in general) have an odd affinity with cats? I love my cat, and I am always seeing posts here of peoples equipment with cats hanging around. So if you love or hate cats, lets see what you think. |

If we didn't have a youngest daughter that is ga-ga about anything fuzzy, we'd never have had a cat in the house. she's in college now, so the cat is not replaceable.

and the thought if you own a cat, you also own a box of poop does not sit well with me.
dogs are more fun. |

And I've had to talk myself out of getting a sugar glider on more than one occasion. I'm a pet person. (translation: I'm a sucker for anything that begs) |

And cats.
And in my house, they all get along.

I like dogs just fine, but don't want to go through what it takes to take care of one, and I like it that I can have flower beds around the fenceline in my backyard.
Edit: added gratuitous cute cat pic
