Lord knows we need it.

Here's one without the angel for those who think angels are corny.

Merry Christmas and peace to all.

OK, gang, I just got back from visiting relatives for Christmas.

Only 2 replies!

No one liked my mushy~gushy little bear praying by his bed for world peace?

I'm so hurt!

OK, I'm better now.

Brad, it's not a pun; I assume you're referring to the snowman and wife picture?

They're wearing plaid, so I figured I'd give them a Scottish last name.

Maki and Brad, have some Christmas treats for replying.

Stay tuned to this channel for more exciting (or boring, depending on your point of view ) photo threads from yours truly.

The next one's about the oldest bar in Queens!

Thanks, but no, I didn't just get the camera; I've had it for a while, and am just starting to get back into still life, a category which is harder than many think.

I did both pictures in about an hour, which isn't a long time. These photos should have come out a lot better.

I was going to try to make a bear cave interior to try to make the photos more realistic, but I was lazy, and I wanted to get the pix up in time for Christmas.

Now, I have to work on my Jimi Hendrix New Year peace photo.

I bet everyone's on the edge of their seat waiting for that one.

Here you go, from a 16th century monk:

He who drinks beer sleeps well;
He who sleeps well cannot sin;
He who does not sin goes to heaven,
Amen.
