I beat Tyson once, after a million attempts, then quit playing the game.

I can't really remember playing that game much, since I didn't have a copy. I doubt ever making it to Tyson. Shao Kahn, on the other hand, has caused many a temper tantrum! I never could beat him in the 2D games except the one glorious time that I got lucky....

I was playing it some time last year on a NES emulator. I dont think I ever beat MK as a kid, I didnt beat many games when I was younger, I always got bored and moved to the next one. Such is my ethics in life.

Shang Tsung can shape-shift, remember? It's been a long time since you could do that in-game, though, unless they gave him back that ability in any of the post-"Armageddon" games....

Same here. I never beat many of those old NES games. They were too dang hard! Ever since TLoZelda and MK went 3D, they've been much more enjoyable and less frustratingly impossible to win!

I wish I could claim credit. I laughed pretty hard when I first saw it, so I had to keep it!

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I havent played any MK games since MKIII Ultra, where you could be any player.

True, I was happy to beat Zelda OoT and Majora's mask.

I think i enjoyed the movie more than the kids.

But they did it right... had girly stuff in there and boy stuff in there. And paid homage to many many videogames!

That being said... i have beat and with a little practice could still beat mike tyson ... yeah... i was that guy.

My NES needs a new pin connector tho...

Classic! It's threads like this that really make me want to unpack and blow the dust off my NES and fire that bad boy up again!
