Went to another movie tonight. This time with the wife, and two other couples. No kids.

This was a good movie. It is really long, so take your time with the popcorn and soda. It's not a fast paced movie, so you'll have chances to use the bathroom if you need to.

It's a love story at times, it's sad at times, it's one of those movies that makes you reflect on your own life at times, it tries to teach some life lessons at times, it also has some well placed humor sprinkled in. Overall, I enjoyed it.

Anyone else seen it yet?

I'm not a Brad Pitt fan or anti-fan, but the idea of a movie about a guy who is old when he's young and becomes younger over time sounds excruciating to me.

I gotta know, how does he end? Does he turn into a fetus and shrink into nothing?

He returns back to a newborn/infant, and dies one day in the arms of his wife. He died of old age, just closed his eyes while she was holding him. She cared for him from about 12 years old until he died.

Yes! I haven't seen the movie yet, but Arcade Fire are one of my favorite bands. Great song.

Didn't F. Scott Fitzgerald write a short story like this? Interesting concept. I'll see the movie.

He did, and this movie is based loosely on that story.

Just saw this movie last night. It's terrible.

It's completely scattered, poorly paced, terribly acted, badly scripted, emotionally distant, and distractingly unfocussed. The only redeeming quality I could find was that the scenes in New Orleans made me homesick.

It's basically trying to be Forrest Gump, and failing miserably. Awful, awful film.

I give it a D.

Saw it, enjoyed it. Not for everybody, but a decent movie. I wouldn't pass out any oscars (except for the lightning guy)

I saw it last night and while I felt it was way too long, a bit creepy and a little too "chick flick-ish" for my taste, it was decent.
