We got one of their dishwashers new about 3-4 years ago and it's garbage. I have had it apart at least 3 times in the last 12 months to repair wiring issues that apparently are a design defect. For what you pay for LG you do not even get close to your money's worth.
Our current fridge is a GE and while it's a side-by-side vs. a bottom freezer we've been very happy with that. The water hookup for the ice maker was a real PITA when we installed it but if your model doesn't have one of those it should be no prob. |

We have an Amana, which is kind of like the budget line. We can tell too. It's not the best quality out there. We'll be looking to replace it soon. I would suggest you walk right past those at the appliance store. I wish I had done better research before I bought this Amana.

I am redoing my new kitchen now (really, I'm just sitting on TB while I take a coffee break) I bought fridge, drop in solid surface range and dishwasher in the 'GE Profile' line. I did a LOT of shopping and research in Dec and that is the way I went.
No opinion yet... I just got the archway, drywall and top cabinets done, getting ready to tile... THEN build the base cabinets. So another week or so before I have an opinion on them.
I went with the side by side model http://hartsafire.com/images/house/s...2016.24.40.jpg
Here is the state the kitchen is in (well a couple days ago) http://hartsafire.com/images/house/s...-During-24.jpg http://hartsafire.com/images/house/s...-During-23.jpg |
