| | | | Best Christmas Tune I know this pertains to music, but it's such a subjective opinion and seasonally-based issue that I thought it would still fit in off-topic.
After reading the great responses in the "Best Christmas Flick" thread, I was curious which musical Christmas classics TB members enjoyed the most. There are too many to include in a poll, so feel free to list anything you want and share with us why you love it so. |

I mean, c'mon...it's Charlie Brown! |

| | | | That's good reasoning. That song got me to buy the Peanuts Christmas album which, in turn, got me into Vince Guaraldi in general. |

2:05 to me is the best written piece of music. Ever. The harmony there is out of this world. |

"Father Christmas" (I think that's what it's called) by the Kinks. I'm pretty much sick to death of traditional Xmas music.

It's a good way to add holiday flavor to a set. But le add a vote for "Merry Christmas, baby," by Johnny Moore (with blues great Charles Brown) and covered by everyone from Elvis to Otis Redding to Springsteen. It's a true modern classic.
