It's summer and even here in England the weather is warm. What do you like to eat cold this time of year?
Please avoid being predictable. Don't post "revenge" in answer to the thread title.

| | | | I keep my boxes of breakfast cereal in the refrigerator during the summer. Chilled cereal and ice cold milk make a cool snack on a hot night.

I'm in England, by the way. It's a nice but not too bright August morning here, about 65 Fahrenheit.

The deal with the cereal is its not so much the heat as the high humidity we get off and on in the summer around here. If you dont keep foods like cookies, crackers, cereal, potato chips, etc tightly sealed its gets all soft. So I started keeping some things in the fridge to control the humidity years ago and it stuck. Some stuff ya cant keep in a fridge, like potato chips get a bit wonky in the fridge.

Now I'm totally craving just that and I got no bananas, or Grape Nuts...and my milk went bad two days ago... all I got are store brand Cheerios, diet soda and a potato.

A brown-spotted banana just doesn't seem worth it to me. |

| | | | Blackberries and Raspberries are amazing out of the freezer.
Girl Scout thin mints, and Little Debbie swiss cake rolls are also optimal out of the freezer.
A summery type of beer.
Honestly, this could be cold, room, or hot and its incredible, an eggplant hero with fresh mozzarella, and roasted red peppers on a seeded roll. Mmm its the best when you get the perfectly made eggplant - thin sliced, no seeds, breaded nicely to the point of being a bit crisp, but still so fresh.
I'm hungry now >:0

I love making a meat&salad sandwich, chilling it for an hour or two, then eating it. Good times.
I'm not a fan of cold fresh fruit though; I feel that you lose some of the flavour. Cool, but not cold IMO.

I also enjoy frozen wildberry pop tarts.
