| A bit apples & oranges, but I don't use iTunes at all. I've been using Rhapsody for music for quite a while.
You can buy any track for $0.99, but the big draw is that you can listen to anything you want at any time for a subscription fee of $10 a month. For $5 more you can put tracks on an mp3 player. I've got an 8 GB Sansa that I clear completely and rebuild the library with new music once or twice a month while my CD library stays on my 80 Gig mp3 player. The downside is obviously that once you end your subscription the files become encrypted and you can't listen to them any more. You're basically renting an enormous music library.
Works for me.
