Lots of folks putting Dexter and Burn Notice - Kinda makes you want to go to Miami, doesn't it?

Spartacus: Blood and Sand TOTALLY has more blood and nudity than any of those other shows. That makes it the best, right?

I never could get into Burn Notice and I saw season 1 of Dexter and thought it was decent, but nothing that blew my mind.

Also, does anyone else think the girl on Burn Notice is really not that attractive?

I don't think I'm a snob, I just have other things to occupy my time other than watching the drivel that takes up most of the air time on tv. Some of the shows are probably good, but there are the ads and more ads that take up too much of the time. If I want to see ads, I'll pick up a magazine.

I watched the first 2 seasons of Dexter in 1 week (using netflix streaming) and liked it a lot. Really dig how the character is developed in season 1. Season 3 has been 'meh' so far.

Dexter is commercial free (on showtime). Most shows I watched are rented via netflix or DVR'd so no commercials for me.

I probably would watch a lot less TV if I had to sit through commercials.

I do watch some of the older things on dvd. I got burned out on Showtime, hbo, etc. because there would be only a couple of things a month that I cared to see, so why pay for the channels when I could wait a while and rent or but the dvd?

100% agree.

I think I only paid for HBO on the last season of The Sopranos.
