Best way to boost P.C. wireless signal?

Sign in to disble this ad
First....YES, I have my neighbors permission to use their signal.
Second....I'm in no way wi-fi, computer savvy so be simple in the explaination. What would be the best and least expensive way to boost the incoming/outgoing signal?
Range, 200 ft., signal comes in probably 35% of the time, I'm using a wireless lap-top.
Thanks to all.

But I guess that means new equipment. Not too pricey.

Without any additional equipment, there is no way to do it.

This goes both ways, first you would have to boost the signal coming from the neighbor, secondly you would have to boost the signal coming from your laptop going to your neighbors router.

One way is to get a wireless repeater on your side. You would have to set it up with your neighbors wireless router for it to work.
