Sign in to disble this ad
I just got a new car and the previous owner smoked in it.
I don't mind it, its just that im trying to quit and im trying to stay away from the smell cuz it triggers my brian into wanting a smoke. every time i smell that smell i want a cig.
i have freebreeze and stuff, but that just seems to mask the smell. any body know some good ways to make it go away? |

I don't mean pouring it over year seats.

The way professional detailers get smoke smell out of a car is by using an ozone generator. It gets into the vents and neturilizes the odor. For a fee, most detail shops and dealerships will do this for you. I bought a car this summer as a fixer upper. Previous owner was a smoker, bad... By shampooing the carpets and seats and using one of these https://www.dakotaproducts.com/ProductView.aspx?id=48 i successfully got rid of the smoke smell. It works like a bug bomb, but with odor neutralizer. Dont get new car smell though... lol.

and in its fading scent, it will more than likely get rid of the cig smell.
..id try that before a steam clean.

Something about vapor from the milk also neutralizes. |

i did this with my car and it actually worked. the sweet breeze cleansed the vehicle. |

Yup. Fresh air and sunshine! Febreeze doesn't hurt at all either.
