Best Wedding Presents EVER

Sign in to disble this ad
My future bride and I exchanged some of our wedding presents to each other this evening. We are getting hitched next Friday night, but keeping secrets is not one of my forte's.

I got her a diamond solitaire necklace on a white gold chain. She got me a Lego calendar that can be rebuilt for my desk at work, a VUVUZELA, and a 1st edition Mark Twain book from 1869 in excellent condition, "The Innocents Abroad". My favorite author of all time. Super cool.

I get to marry this lady! I thought you guys would appreciate this gem - in fact my first comment was "I can't wait to tell the guys on TB about this - they love vuvuzelas!" I'm going to bust it out at our gig this weekend. I bet everyone else will love it too!

ian

P.S. Dogs do not like vuvuzelas.

As long as the vuvuzela doesn't make it north. But congrats, she sounds like a great girl.

BTW, I just googled to figure out exactly where Merchantville... I'm down your way all the time in Haddonfield visiting my college roommates. If you're playing shows anytime soon, let me know!

Some Legos, a book, and an already out of style horn? If my wife tried to give me gifts like that, I'd fill the end of her hair dryer with unbleached flour.

Other than that, best wishes to your future.

1st edition Twain!? That is an awesome present. Really. I am more jealous of that than any bass related item you could have listed.

Now THAT is an awesome present---a little bit more than just a "book" as MJ5150 thinks. Holy crap!

My wife gave me a 1967 Gibson ES-330. That was pretty cool.
