i used to love big macs...so much so, that i ate about one a day for several years....i know, i know..."good going, Dave, we'll get a plumber's friend to help you clean out your arteries"....no argument
but about 15 years ago, i stopped eating at McDonald's almost totally...about the same time they changed the big mac, as it turns out.
what bugged me then and still bugs me, was that they stopped putting cheese on both patties and only put one piece of cheese on the entire sandwich
i mean, talk about cynically saying "screw the customers" and going for the bucks....i imagine they have saved a pretty penny over the years by doing this, but they lost me as a customer...admittedly, not JUST for that reason, but that was the last straw.
anyway, rant over...it doesn't matter anyway...just wanted to vent
any thoughts?

I suggest you write a strongly worded letter to Ronald McDonald expressing your displeasure with your dining experience. |

THEN,... oneday i realized,.. the stuff at BK was making me sick to my stomach! it didn't matter what it was. the chicken sandwiches, fish burgers, and the awesome Whopper started giving me painful gas and cramping almost exactly one hour after mastication. i mean, at least, Jack in the Box didn't hurt until defecation!

A few months ago a new company took control of the vending machines, and they put cheese on only a few items. I mean a meatball sub with no cheese. Really? What gives?

There is a reason we don't buy half gallon things anymore. The price stayed the same, but the container is on 58 ounces.. Same price, less product. It is happening all over the consumer market. It is a slap in the face that we all have to accept this or give these things up.

WHAT GIVES, Murder King?!! | Your local BK probably needed a visit from the sanitation department. Quote:

I think the biggest thing is that its being sold as "beef".
As for the Big Mac, I stopped eating at McD's well over 10 years ago. I never cared for the Big Mac anyway (the extra bread in the middle is just to help fill you up.

The problem is being sold something based on a lie. |

I think the biggest thing is that its being sold as "beef". | Mislabelling is part of it, the more important part (which most don't seem interested in) is the quality control of the meat. The horsemeat entering the food chain may contain chemicals which are harmful and/or banned from meats used for human consumption.
