Bioshock 2: I cant wait for this game!

Almost done with the first one. I killed Ryan and am after Fontaine at the moment. Theres some scarry noises going on in the background, so I have a feeling Im coming up to a Big Sister (just guessing here based off of what Ive seen in the Bioshock 2 demos, not 100%). This series has so much potential, and from my understanding Bioshock 2 is going to be even better than the first. I cant wait!

Bioshock 1 is what killed my Xbox 360 a few years back because I was playing it nonstop for 3 days straight... Here`s hoping the second one is as good!

Yeah, it looks great. I don't play video games but I often watch my brother play video games while I sit on the sofa playing bass.

Oh man, Bioshock was fantastic. Like an interactive movie man. Ending is great too. I'm going to buy both of them on the ps3 I think, very worth the money.

I completey SUCK at video games but I enjoyed the first Bioshock. It moved at a pace where I could survive and the "plot" kept my interest. Most of the games my son enjoys..........I last about 5 seconds and can't get much better

You do know that the Big Sisters are new for BioShock 2, they weren't around for the first one.

Anyways, extremely excited about it. It'll be hard to top the original, as it was one of the few perfect games I've ever played. The main villain (By that I mean Ryan, not Fontaine) looks to be as impressive and enigmatic, but on the opposite end of the philosphical spectrum. That was a huge bonus for me, the way Ryan was subtly but unquestionably compared to Ayn Rand, as well as some other writers' ideas of the perfect society/man. (Dostoevsky comes to mind) The sheer intelligence and allusion that game had is staggering, you just don't get that often anymore. Then there was the incredible, epic scope of Rapture itself. Who wasn't wowed when you caught your first glimpse from the Bathysphere, or any time you looked through the window? I could go on and on about the incredible depth of BioShock, but it'd take me way too long.

I really, really, really want BioShock 2 to live up to the original, I'm just worried it won't, that it can't. I was a little worried when I heard the main character was going to be a Big Daddy, an odd choice for sure. However, it does look like a few old characters are coming back, Tennenbaum included. I'm hoping her backstory gets explored further, and even that she ends up being the Fontaine of the new game.
