A bit old... but just found out the other day...

Captain Lou Albano died Oct. 14th, 2009. I just found out about this the other day. I remember back in the 80's when he was just about everywhere in the media. Other than his WWF career in the 80's, he was also known for appearing in Cyndi Lauper music videos, and more recently during the early 90's he played Mario on the Super Mario Bros. Super Show.

He'll be missed.

I worked with him quite a bit during the mid-late '80s and early '90s. He was a hard-working, genuine and genuinely funny guy, who happened to favor 4X Hawaiian shirts.

I still remember the time when he was on Piper's Pit with Cyndi, and she got pissed off at him and started beating him with her handbag
