blackfriday shopping?

Sign in to disble this ad
Who else is planning on some Black Friday shopping? we're within a few miles from a mall, and WalMart, Target, etc. I can just roll out of bed and waltz in right at opening. So I think I'll do some shopping this year. My son have been asking guitar for several months from now. Hope to get a first guitar for him on black friday. This is my guitar colletion shopping list.

By the way, anyone else planning to? If so, where do you plan to hit?

Nah, I don't want to be packed in a store with a bunch of lunatics at 5 am. Besides, on Thanksgiving weekend, I go out of town to visit my Dad and other relatives.

I've never understood why ANYBODY would go out on Black Friday, especially to go shopping.

"The most crowded, frantic shopping day of the year..."

"LET'S DO ALL OUR SHOPPING ON THAT DAY OMGZ"

When I worked for Best Buy the store I worked for said "It's the one day of the year you can throw customer service out the window and ask someone to leave if they get cranky over a 10 dollar DVD player". So we did, more than once.

I'd help you pick a guitar, but your link doesn't open up the list. Just print the list as some of us could help.

Last time I shopped on Black Friday was back when the Nintendo Game Boys first came out, in '95 or '96. I picked up two for my boys at Walmart, but the animals were unbelievable. I swore never again, and I never have and will.

I too work retail. But I am working the late shift, doing restocking.

My boss told me my schedule, then asked if I was going shopping that morning. "No" and "are you insane?" are about the only words I used that I feel comfortable repeating on this site.

Not really a fan of shopping. Not really a fan of lots of people. Even less of a fan of shopping with lots of people.
