We get ours starting tomorrow at 1 am, then it'll continue throughout the day until Thursday. I'm not sure how much we'll be getting but the last snow we got Last Friday, they called for 1-2 inches and we got 6-8.

We have a winter weather warning. I have to drive around the 2wd delivery truck at work tomorrow and run around in the weather. Yay.

4 to 7 inches accumulation expected.

It's winter, since when do we need a warning for that? What kind of weather do they expect?

You know, that's a really good point. That's just what it's called, I guess.

This one probably deserves a warning with the heavy travel expected .

We are expected to have whiteout conditions and heavy snow drifts possibly blocking roads.

I have friends out in the country that can be snowed in for days when we get storms like this.

I know exactly what you meant about "fun" after winters in NoDak, Minnesota, Maine, and The UP. Good luck

10-4

We don't get many here so it's a major mess when it happens . We just aren't used to it not equipped for it. They did pre treat all the major roads with the liquid salt/beet juice?

Not gonna matter much if we get a bunch really fast but may keep ice from forming on the asphalt.

I'm supposed to work on a industrial sized heating unit on a roof tomorrow. Not sure how that's gonna work out yet.

I blame The Weather Channel for fear-mongering. Honestly, they name every front of weather that comes through anymore. It's ridiculous.

Just started snowing here in North Texas maybe 30 minutes ago, and I'm stoked. Never had a white Christmas or even actually seen it snow, ever.

What I remember from living in Fort Worth was the ice storms, where the whole town shut down. We used to have a rule, to head out for work about 30 minutes late, after all of the Suburbans were already in the ditch.

The further north you go, the worse it is. You guys may only get 4-6. Cleveland's getting 8-12. I'm a little bit north of Columbus, in Delaware County, and we're getting the salt and shovels ready. I have a feeling we're gonna get nailed.

Let's hope this is one of those many times that they're wrong and we don't get as much as they're predicting.
