Hello
I have just started a PhD at Loughborough University in the UK, and have decided to start keeping a blog about my acitvities. I intend to write every day, so if you want to know what its like to be doing a PhD, this is the best way on earth!

I hope you finish your's a lot faster than I did mine! It is a good feeling to be done and as a co-worker said to me when I was getting down about ever finishing and not sure I had the motivation, "They can take your job, your income, lots of things, but not your PhD, that's an accomplishment you will have forever." Oh yeah, finish *before* you have kids, I learned that one the hard way. |
