Blooooooootooooooth headsets anyways

Sign in to disble this ad
I found a bluetooth headset last year in my dorm, so I took it, naturally, and didn't look for its owner... but I was thinking about how it would be nice to be able to use it, but I don't have the charger and you need some sort of special thing to charge it or sommat. So I decided to take my electrical knowledge to use and now it is charging on a nintendo DC adaptor and a makeshift stand

I love knowing how to do random electrical stuff

Nice!

I hate the headsets, btw. If I see you walking down the street with it on, I'll run up and dropkick you in the face area.

I call people with headsets, "Blue Tools"

as it doesn't look very hip to me.

oh no I agree! I want one for when I talk to my girlfriend for hours on end, it sucks holding up the damn phone that long! I would take a wired headset, but they don't work with my phone while I charge it...

Will you be doing this in the comfort of your own home?

yes sir!

I just tested it, it soooooo works! muahaha I am a genius sometimes

I'm thinking I will have to have it plugged in while I use it, but that isn't too big of a deal for me...

I don't like speakerphone... keep in mine the 'comfort of my own home' is a dorm room where I live with 3 other people. There are 3 rooms for the 4 of us... but I don't always have the kind of privacy where I want them hearing both ends of the conversation, being able to hear my end is bad enough

They only annoy me when people wear them while out on random errands. Seems like they're trying to say "looook at me!!".

But they do come in handy at times. I don't use mine often, but it's really handy when I need it.

I think a bluetooth is a great tool to use when "hands free" is necessary (while driving). A person becomes a tool when they wear it while NOT on a call. IT just looks STUPID people. There is not a damn thing cool about having one on ad infinitum.

I want one for while I am driving. There are times where I drive a lot and it would be nice to be able to take calls and not have to hold the phone. It isn't easy to drink a coffee, talk on the phone and drive a standard all at the same time.

I'm an IT tech, most of my work is done with a keyboard. If I'm not in front of a terminal I'm in a wiring closet. Being hands free is pretty important.

I also have on call duties from time to time. It's nice to be able to wear an ear piece and leave my phone on it's charger when I'm at home.

There are a lot of people who don't seem to have a need for these hands free devices, but don't rule out the people who use them for business purposes.
