A Blue Moon on New Years

A "blue moon" doesn't refer to color, but rather the second full moon in a month. These happen every 2-3 years, but only once every ~20 years on New Year's Eve. So enjoy, and be careful on the roads.

I enjoy that beer brand from time to time. I forgot what flavors though. I really should'a picked some up when i went out earlier, but I didn't see the news report of the blue moon thing until I came home.

To expand on the original post. The next blue moons will be in August 2012 and then July of 2015.

Also, for anybody else in Europe (I'm currently in Italy for the holidays) or anybody in Africa, Asia, Middle East, or Australia, we also got a partial lunar eclipse (southern surface) tonight (sorry all of you in the Americas, it will not be visible to you). It was the largest (and obviously last) of the minor eclipses of 2009 (there were 4 in 2009).
