Blue Screen of Death in XP

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys, over the past few weeks I keep getting random blue screens on the pc. I set it to not automatically restart and the problem is usually nv4_disp.dll, however, sometimes (well, once) it has been PFN_LIST_CORRUPT.

Anyone have any ideas ?

Bah, I had less problems with windows when I was using my "free" version

PFN_LIST_CORRUPT can be a memory issue. You might have a bad memstick or maybe you might need to reseat one of them.

Among other things, you have the option of downloading a pre-compiled bootable ISO. Do that and burn the ISO to a CD. Then, with the CD still in the drive, reboot. Let it run overnight if you can, though if you start seeing errors immediately then that's not really necessary.
