My brother is graduating from high school soon, and him being an electronics buff, I wanted to get him a Bluetooth set for a graduation present.
Unfortunately, I have no idea what Bluetooth is short of that little earpiece that I see so many people wearing around. How does it work? Do you need to purchase software for it, or just the headset? My brother has mentioned in the past that both his laptop and cell phone are bluetooth compatible.
Thanks.

Thanks. | You can buy a universal headset or one to use specifically for your phone. All you do is charge it, pair it to your phone and you're set. From then on, once you turn on your Bluetooth, the phone, if it's on will automatically receive the signal and connect to it. There's usually no software needed and they're really simple to use. Of course, he may have to set the phone up to use it depending on the phone. |

We can always pick up the phone. But then again, if electronics stuff is his passion, he might just love it.
A bluetooth mouse would be really cool though. Getting rid of the wire would be a dream.
