Bonsai

Are any of you into Bonsai? Here's my first, a seven Juniperus Chinensis Foemina group planting. The jin style (with simulated lighting struck tops) seem more realistic to me than the Karate Kid style trees. Everytime I come home now, I round the corner and am greeted by this...and it cracks me up!

And here's what it reminds me of.

Bonsai is pretty cool. I've seen some amazing things done with little trees....

If you put them in the ground, they'll grow into full size trees under the ideal conditions. It's the tiny pot and careful pruning and training that keep them small.
