I don't have cable so I haven't seen the TV version, but I really enjoy the print comic strip in the papers.

What have I told you about telling the truth to white people? I said not even in your dreams! I'm gonna go find a white person and lie to him right now!

It's amazing, I've got both seasons and still rewatch them.

Bongomania, it's actually a different story/characters than the comic strip.

I don't have cable anymore, but i found it, as the OP said, bizarre yet entertaining. I still remember the episode when the grandfather fights the blind man.

It's like Anime, but American. I think it's pretty funny.

I'm a fan of Return of the King and all the ones where he claims that BET was created by white people to make black people stupid.

Boondocks is a great cartoon! The episode where Riley takes art lessons is great...hilarious and touching.

Miscellaneous trivia: boondock is a corruption the Tagalog (language of the Philippines) word for "mountain", which is "bundok". It was imported by American GIs

Yeah that was one of my favorites too. I like the poetry/rap for the show. The whole thing cuts like nothing else.
