You should ban yourself for your thread earlier in the year. Greatest game I've ever seen in my life.

A stunning turn of events, but this has been a slow-motion trainwreck for nearly a month. Plenty of opportunities to pad the lead that went by the boards.

They'll be back next year, hopefully a more focused and able to play 162 games rather than 140.

Epic collapse. The Rays really deserved it. Everything fell apart for the Sox and they did nothing to fix it. 20 losses in September, while the Rays went 17-8.

All that money on the big payroll, and the Red Sox players will be home watching the playoffs just like the Pirates players.

Major +1 Personally I don't like the Red Sox, but I feel bad for Adrian Gonzalez.

I'm curious...how do you Yankees fans feel about them throwing those last two games?

I know on one hand they earned that right, and they love nothing more than to kick the Sox while they are down.

On the other hand, the baseball purist in me knows that's not how you play the game. They make Pete Rose look like Mother Theresa, yet nothing will happen to them.

It was the biggest September collapse, the 09 Tigers held the record before with a 7 game lead going into the month. The Braves (8 1/2 games) and Red Sox (9 games) both eclipsed my Tigers in the record book this season.

I'm a diehard Yankees fan, and I got to admit, this did cross my mind watching these past few Yankees-Rays games. Really hoping it doesn't come back to bite them, if it comes to that in the ALCS.

Just trying not to vommit on my favorite Roscoe SKB. So shameful on one hand (Sox), uplifting on the other (Rays).

Go Tampa Bay, win this thing!
