Boy names...yeah I know it's not original, but I wanna know!

So I've come up with (IMO) some pretty amazing and earth-shattering names over the years for a firstborn son. My wife, of course, hates all of 'em.

So who better to sway her opinion than a bunch of edudes who she hates hearing all the time?

Let me know what you think - I've got a short list of 5 names. We do plan on having kids pretty soon - probably about a year from now

- Lucios Leftfoot Brasfield

- Cornelius Wallace Brasfield

- Lawrence Christopher Brasfield (cuz I wanna be able to call him "Leroy" )

- Othello Michael Brasfield

- Marcellus Anthony Brasfield

I like Lawrence, or Marcellus. The other 3 not so much. Are you really considering Leftfoot as a middle name? Thats awesome! Lawrence Leftfoot!

I've always liked the way the name Lawrence sounds anyway, so Lawrence I say.

I honestly can't decide. They're all cool names

- Lucios Leftfoot Brasfield - Badass and funny

- Cornelius Wallace Brasfield - Cool, but your kids cool factor has to be at least above average to wield that name without teasing. I know a guy with the name Cornelius who is that cool .

- Lawrence Christopher Brasfield - Lawrence "The Law" Brasfield has a nice ring to it, lol.

- Othello Michael Brasfield - I think this is my favorite.

- Marcellus Anthony Brasfield - Everyone I know with the name Marcel or Marcellus is a cool dude

I kinda like Lucius, but I'm not too hot on the left foot thing. How's bout the good foot?

Marcellus sounds kinda Roman. If you're going with a Roman sounding name, have you considered Biggus Dickus?

I have never known a black Corky, nor do I wish to. I don't think the world is prepared for that one yet.

Othello is cool and all, but it makes me think of the Bard of Avon, and Bard makes me think of some poor bastard named Beard, and that just makes me sad.........

I kinda like Leroy, but if you're going to call the boy Leroy why not just name him Leroy?? You could call him Larry if wanted to confuse the lad.

I'm leaning towards Lucius myself, but the middle name should be badass.

I vote for Lucius "The Destroyer" Brasfield. Aint nobody gonna mess with that kid on the playground!!

I picked Cornelius because it was the first thing that jumped out at me but I probably shouldn't have, now that I think about it.

Marcellus and Othello are actually quite badass. Seriously, you will be a BAMF with those names. I like Othello because I like literary references... they make you look sharp. Both of these names are cool.

Cornelius actually sounds like an old Civil War general. One with massive facial hair. When I hear Cornelius, I think of this:
