| | In case you missed it, I work for QSC Audio! Applications Engineer, QSC Audio | | Join Date: Jul 2001 Location: Costa Mesa, Calif. | | Brain-eating amoebas? I'm familiar with them. They sometimes call me for tech support. "Uh yeah … I … I just bought an amp. What do I do with it?"
"OK, what do you want to do with it?"
"Uh … what do you mean?"
"Is this for a DJ system, or maybe a live sound rig, or an instrument amp, like a bass rig, or something?"
"Uh … yeah I guess so."
"OK, which one, any of those?"
"Uh, what do you mean?"
"Well, you have loudspeakers you want to use with the amp?"
"Uh … loudspeakers?"
"Yes, speakers. Do you have them already?"
"Um, are those the boxes?"
"Yeah, usually the speakers are in enclosures or boxes."
"Oh."
"Do you have speakers you want to use?"
"Uh … I don't think there are any boxes but I'm not sure." … and so on. By the time we end the call I can feel that some brain cells are gone. |

Worrying about getting hit by lighting on the day you win the lottery would be a better use of your time.
