Post 'em, and solve 'em. Me first.
Three people check into a hotel. They pay $30 to the manager and go to their room. The manager suddenly remembers that the room rate is $25 and gives $5 to the bellboy to return to the people. On the way to the room the bellboy reasons that $5 would be difficult to share among three people so he pockets $2 and gives $1 to each person. Now each person paid $10 and got back $1. So they paid $9 each, totaling $27. The bellboy has $2, totalling $29.
Where is the missing $1?

I remember this one... but I can't remember the solution.
Something to do with the group actually paying $28 for the room. Crap. I hate being dum. |

they actually only paid $27 (3x$9) for the room, so that plus the $2 in the bellboys pants make for $29...
next:
Which of these is correct:
Six and six IS eleven or six and six ARE eleven?

Six and six IS eleven or six and six ARE eleven? | six and six is six^2
But if your thinking 6+6 then then the answer is 12 not 11.

Where is the missing $1? | They didn't pay $10 each for the room. They paid $25 ÷ 3 = ~$8.33 each. $25 + 3 + 2 = $30. The extra dollar -- $0.33 x 3 -- is in their pockets. |

EDIT: well...right number....wrong explanation....
19: each term's initial letter position in the alphabet, 7 >> Seven >> S >> 19th letter.
position 1: 15 (One=O=15th letter of the alphabet)
postition 2: 20 (Two=T=20th letter of the alphabet)
postion 7: the missing position (Seven=S=19th letter of the alphabet)
