What are some brand names that are used more commonly to describe a product than their common names. This is what i came up with so far...
Band-Aid for bandage
Rollerblades for inline skates
Kleenex for tissue |

BTW, Re: your signature. Check w/ Buffalo Bros. Last time I asked them about those pickups, they gave me a VERY reasonable price. New price was actually less than I expected to find used ones for.
