Ummm... no. Maybe #2. At least he didn't have his own special on ESPN to announce his decision.

THAT was beyond absurd to the point of being laughable.

| | | | I don't think that guy likes to practice. How much you want to bet he is on the injury report every week and listed as "questionable." |

However, I think the fact that we don't go through this YEAR after YEAR with him like Brett is the difference. Brett is so in love with himself that we've had to sit through this ridiculousness for what, at least 5 years now? It always extends well into training camp? How that guy stood up there at the ESPY's and talked about "team first" and everything with a straight face is beyond me. Now, he has turned it into a weekly "I'm not coming back, I'm coming back, etc." to keep himself front and center in the news. It is quite obvious he puts himself well above the team more than just about any other athlete I can think of.

-Mike | Mike,
You really don't think this guy is super arrogant? I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, but I am genuinely confused by this statement. Can you elaborate on your thoughts?
Rob

Each time he makes any kind of announcement, there's a ton of media buzz over it all. |

I got the chance to sit near Chris Mortenson and Adam Schefter out at Saints camp yesterday during lunch (I handle my company's suite). I sensed that they were pretty tired of the whole Favre "will he/won't he" circus as many of us are, but noted that every time it is covered ratings go up. I guess we only have ourselves to blame!

| | | | As a Packer fan I hope he comes back. To get his butt whupped at Lambeau Field. I have a feeling he's going to be knocked on his A.. alot this season. People seem to forget he single handedly lost alot of games BIG games the last 5 years. Not to mention the Carolina and Cincy games where he threw 5 interception each game. The best thing the packers could have done was move on without him. Aaron Rodgers is much much better than Favre is now. Let the Viqueens have their Drama Queen. There team is hapless save for Favre and Peterson anyways
