Lou Diamond Phillips was a judge on the Thanksgiving Iron chef challege...

He brought humour...
He brought his palate...
He brought himself...

Lou Diamond Phillips, an American icon.

Lou Diamond Phillips is Simply Awesome. I can't belive I missed this. His mere presence gives this show a certain validity it can't get any other way. I'm just gonna throw this out there....Lou Diamond Phillips should have his own day.

Lou Diamond Phillips has the best poker face in the business. Too bad he doesn't have any other looks. Might serve his acting career well.

Sacrilege. LDP doesn't need any other looks. They are all subtle shades of AWESOME.

Michelangelo could have stopped with the Sistine Chapel and no one would have questioned what he did in the 10 years immediately following, now would they? Same thing. Once you're there, there's no need to reprove what is already as present as the gravitational constant.

when i was on the road, our tour bus had a vhs and tv. the only video we had was La Bamba. for some reason, we would just watch it over and over again. no one ever thought of buying any other videos.

That was probably the best Iron Chef America yet!!! I actually dislike most of the "regular" judges, especially Jeffrey Steingarten. I hope to see LDP make more appearances on the show. He's one of my favorite actors.

This thread should be bumped. I'm guessing it hasn't gotten much traffic because "Lou Diamond Phillips" isn't in the title.

LDP should have his own forum - just like this one but TALKLDP.com instead.
and it should have a MAJOR DIAMOND who asks off-the-wall questions but all somehow related to LDP.
LDP rules.

Well Jamie Foxx isn't Ray Charles either. Still, if that performance was oscar worthy then I wonder what forces had to conspire to deny LDP of his.

They should make a biographical movie about the life of LDP, with the role of LDP played by the exhumed bones of Richie Valens.
