Digestive biscuit is a cookie, white sausage is some kind of ground up pig I think, seed cake might be a muffin, but I'm not sure, no idea about the other.

I had deduced that a digestive biscuit was a cookie, but I wanted some confirmation as it seemed such a bizarre term. It sounds like a Rolaids tablet.

I think a "boiled sweet" is hard candy, but I'm not sure. I think white sausage is something made from suet and some other vileness, as opposed to "black sausage," which is apparently made from blood.

Texans don't like beans in their breakfast burritos?

Boiled Sweet = hard candy

Seed Cake = Carroway Seed Cake. Not sure if the US has an equivalent. Here's the recipe!

I'll have a go...

1: Digestive Biscuit. Quite plain, slightly too big to dunk in a regular mug. Good solid staple biscuit. May be covered in chocolate (either sort).

From Nicecupofteaandasitdown.com

"The undisputed king of the large diameter biscuits, this is truly an iconic biscuit.

Found in two main varieties, SweetMeal and WholeMeal, the digestive biscuit sets a standard for the whole biscuit world. Its satisfying nature make the biscuit eater consider how many to have at a time 1,2 or maybe 3. It's versatile providing the base for many more elaborate biscuits, (see Chocolate Caramels), and even chocolate covered biscuit bars such as the Breakaway, or the base for Cheesecakes."

2: Boiled Sweet. As you rightly surmise, these are generally referred to as "Hard Candy" by the younger nations.

A selection of proper sweets here

3: Seed Cake. Cake made with Almonds & Caraway Seeds. An acquired taste that I have yet to acquire.

Recipe

4: White Sausage. Do NOT do an Unfiltered Google Image Search for this term. I had to resort to Google for this, as I'd not heard of it. This is because it's Not British. It's Bavarian, apparently. They call it "Weisswurst".

Proper Sausages look like this:

& may be fried or grilled. They are allowed to contain some pig, but not too much lest it interfere with the subtle tones of the sawdust.

It is.

If you really want to know more... ... but it isn't a pretty sight. Consider yourself Advised.
