(Or 5th Gear)
I remember catching a few episodes on PBS; in the 90's, in which one presenter would pretty much tear ass in and comment on historical and landmark cars from a specific marque in which each episode was dedicated.
For instance an episode would be dedicated to Ferrari and the presenter would start out in like a 1910 racecar then present all the worthwhile cars (both racers and road cards) that followed it.
Then another episode would be dedicated to Jaguar and the presenter would start out in genesis and go through to the E-type all the way up to the XJ220 (which was current at the time).
Can anyone tell me the name of that show? I don't believe I've ever seen an episode from start to finish so I never caught a name for the program. |

It's seems like the only Old Top Gear clips I can come across are Jeremy Clarkson road tests. |

Motorweek meaning they have several segments on different cars from different manufacturers that run the gambit from cheap utilitarian transport to half million dollar hypercars.
The show I'm remembering was more about the history of sports car manufacturers. It may have not been a very long running program.

I've tried all kinds of search terms, looked through lists, tried to find videos, but can't seem to come up with anything. |
