So it hasn't rained for what ??? Two months at least.

And on the very day that the lord sees fit to unleash a downpour some little bastard in my neighborhood shoots out one of the windows in my truck.

He didn't steal anything. Didn't even open the door. Just shot it to **** and ran away.

So the police came and filed a report but you and I both know that this little punk will never be caught.

So now its gonna be $200 bucks to fix it.

I wonder??? Had I been at work this morning like I usually am on sunday, Would he have shot out one of the windows on my other cars or would we have avoided any destruction at all???

I am happy though that he picked my truck to shoot up and not the Galaxy cause I know that **** would have been DAMN expensive to replace.

Thank you all for listening to my rant.

Love Dave

I get paranoid everytime i go out because i drive a ute with a soft tonneau cover. As an AV Tech/Installer i have a lot of gear in there, tools etc. Always park the car where i can see it incase someone lifts it up.

I can go get a colour matched lockable hard cover.... for $1500 AU which when you're self employed is not money i have lying around

You are welcome. Although I did not listen to your rant. I read it.

Yes random destruction of property is pretty bad. Not quite as bad as deliberate theft...but it comes pretty close. Although you won't see it, be happy in the knowledge karma can be a right b***h at times

I thought being self employed means you can write the whole car off on tax anyway?? You should have got that hard cover when you bought it. Plus, a Rottweiler left in the back should do wonders for securing your tools...until they nick the dog at least

It really burns me up when I hear about people randomly vandalizing property like that. I hope that when they get older they feel about about the stupid things they did in their youth.
