I didn't know such a thing existed until my roommate's cat made himself one this morning:

D-pants aren't very heroic, though.

While this cat has a very hard time getting litter sand to cover his business to his liking (that's what you get when you paw the outside of the litter box), he doesn't have any declared digestive problem or inconvenience.
