Be careful, a friend of mine got caught having them shipped over a state boarder and got a big fine.

I order smokes online all the time.

Some things to remember, though...

You usually have to pay be "eCheck". IOW, forget trying to use M/C, Visa, Amex, etc.

Most sites are really stringent about the age thing, e.g., you have to fax them a
pic of your driver's license.

Most sites ship via USPS. UPS (and I think FedEx) won't ship cigarettes.

Lucky Strike strikes again. No Lucky Strikes back.

Silly kids game: if you found a Lucky Strike pack on the ground, you got to punch your friend in the arm and he couldn't hit you back.

Did I mention that I ruled at that game? My dad smoked Luckies

Dude, just go to your local smoke shop and have them ordered.

That way you don't have to deal with the gubment.

I couldn't find the filtered either, I do think they stopped making them... which is sad.

edit: found em http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucky_Strike

[quote]In late 2006 both the Full Flavored and Light filtered varieties of Lucky Strike cigarettes were discontinued in North America. However, Lucky Strike will continue to have marketing and distribution support in territories controlled by British American Tobacco as a global drive brand. In addition, R.J. Reynolds continues to market the original, non-filter Lucky Strikes in the United States. Lucky Strikes currently have a small but very loyal base of smokers. [quote]

Eventually my dad had a standing order, at a local pony keg, for a carton of the non-filter Luckies. Most stores didn't/don't carry them. Picked up his weekly case of beer and his smokes.

California has agreements with most other states so they can get your name/address and essentiallly make you to pay the cigarette taxe$ per pack. It pretty expensive.

I was buying cigs from New York for my brother for about $20 a carton. I got an official tax notice from the tax board and ended up paying about $900 additional in tax.

They may be cheap but you'll probably end up paying the tax anyways. If you still want your brand of cigs and are willing to pay the tax, then go for it.
