Well, what do you want to use it for? What's your price range? Does it need to double as a tv?

24 inches? Pfft. A real man wouldn't settle less than 30...

I kid, I kid. I have a 22" Hanspree, and I like. But my main computer is down, so I can't enjoy my monitor...

Yes you can, just about every laptop nowadays can support an additional monitor.

Just a PC monitor, both are on the same price range, i mostly use my comp to play games and watch english/american tv shows, no HD but might consider getting them in such definition if the actual quality im ussing looks crappy on a bigger screen.

Im corncerned mainly on pixeling and stuff like that related to the quality of the screen.

My hannspree 22" inch is pretty sweet. Has HDMI slot and everything. Just remember that your face will spend a good bit of time front of this thing, so 24" may be 24" too many

Spend a little more and get this one: LG W2253V-PF. Better contrast ratio, lesser input lag, HDMI and DVI inputs and it's 21.5".

Look at something dark on each, how black is the black?

Open a solid colored block and drag it around, does the color shift? Is the back lighting even?

Of course resolution is important and you want the highest you can get.

Find out what the refresh rate is on both, the higher the better.

Check the ports, the more things you can hook up to it the better, and the easier it is to hook them up the better (hooking up one of my monitors after I move it is almost brain surgery because of where they put the connection)

That one is not availiable, the W2261VP-PF 22" is, but is a little bit out of range ATM.

Get something that's full HD, has DVI in, and preferably has HDMI too, for plugging in those consoles and such stuff.
