I was really hoping they'd continue the whole modern warfare idea, I really enjoyed CoD4.

Quoted for truth. Three was so lackluster it really took some convincing for me to finally play 4. Glad I did though.

I cannot emphasize enough how much I dislike the Treyarch iterations of the Call of Duty series. Absolute cash-grab rubbish. CoD5 is a $50 (or for console gamers, $60+) mod.

Trailers may be one thing, but from experience playing the other CoD games (other than CoD4 which was by IW), they all sucked majorly!

Should be an awesome game. I know there has been a lot of bitching about the WW2 setting (I see LOADS of this as I follow computer gaming avidly via online forums), but as everyone who has played the Beta attests, it's at least taken the COD4 framework for multiplayer. So give it a fair chance. I was incensed about it being a WW2 game at first but now I'm really looking forward to it!
