Call of Duty MW2 addiction! lol

I remember standing in line to pick up my boyfriend's copy, last year, cause he had a gig. He got it for his PS3. A few weeks ago we played it and my 10 year old and I was hooked. He gave me an Xbox 360 a couple years ago for my birthday, and so I said I was going to get that game. He got an Xbox 360 the other day and bought both of us the game, and also got us both access to play it Live. Now I am HOOKED. A new COD game comes out in Nov and I can't wait! lol!

Anyone here like to play it?? I like it cause I can talk to my bf while we play.

not to mention shoot his butt to let out any frustrations he puts upon me!

A few of us play it. I'm on PS3 and almost always playing HC TDM.

I played for a while (prestiged twice and am a level 70 2nd prestige) but started to get tired of the perpetual campers, drop shots, and everything since everyone knows the maps so well. It stopped being fun, so I stopped playing.

I love the game, just not the extremes people go to. I love hardcore TDM but unfortunately, I end up with a bunch of kids who want to team kill. I can be on a 14 kill spree and get a headshot from my own teammate who's killed the entire team twice already and we can't boot him. Not cool.

I have it and occasionally play it but I still prefer CoD: W@W and CoD 4: MW.

I though you get booted after 3 team kills.

Not from my experience... I've been team killed by a pair of kids more times than I'd care to. They come in, ruin everyone else's game, and then leave.

CoD4? I feel that it paled in comparison to MW2... I was dumbfounded by the storyline on MW2.

Both had pretty lame single player campaigns. It's the multiplayer content that makes them good.

I really liked the SP for CoD4:MW, though it was a bit short.

I'm talking mainly of the multiplayer here. CoD4 is still great fun online I find, I think they just tried to add too much extra stuff with MW2 (IMO etc etc).

I agree. Even though I don't play it much anymore, CoD 4 multiplayer is my favorite.

I think I must be one of the only people that just plays single player. I just don't have the time to invest in becoming uber good online, I mean getting shot by people I cant even see gets old fast.

I'm with you on that. The single player is really cool in that game. Basically everything is so over the top and ridiculous that it's awesome. Unfortunately it's a bit short and the story is a bit dull.

Multiplayer wasn't that interesting to me. The way that infinity ward neglected exploiting/bugs for months on end put me off from it. Not buying another CoD game ever again because of that. I'm sure it's probably all fixed by now but whatever. Reach is here and then theres good ol tf2 on my pc.

Oh and portal 2. OP I bet you would like Portal, if you have a decent PC get it with the orange box!

It's indeed a lot more fun. Having gazillion helicopters and missiles raining from the sky all the time gets old pretty quick.

Plus, the hundreds of user made maps keep the original mw alive for a long time.

I like MW2 online, and spend many hours a week playing. Single player was fun, but the story was too short.

Stubi19 on XB-L. I see Bob Clayton on, alot, and another TBer or two. I've only played a few matches with anyone though.
