ooo! Which mountains are those? They look like some of the ones I've seen in Colorado.

Gonna run out of bullets in that gun real quick. Gimme a Glock or a Colt (non-revolver) any day. In fact, Smith and Wesson make the only revolver I'd consider carrying.

You forgot a knife, too. And some gear. Won't last long in the mountains that way.

Awsome pics!!!!! I get out to our place in the NC mountains every chance I get! If you ever want your problems to get really REALLY small, sit atop of a mountain and just LOOK. You will realize just how small you are. Where were these taken?

Indeed. There's some nice hill country back east. But there aren't any mountains there.

To the point, camping is pretty fun. I've never taken a gun with me, though.

there is no point in camping unless you are drinking. However this coming from a 19 year old...my view is everything is pointless unless you are drinking

For some people that would make sex pointless. Ever heard of whiskeydick?

I've been camping a lot before and I've never needed anything bigger than a pocket knife.

What am I using the gun for? Fighting off injuns?

Does not compute.

Are you afraid of the dark or something?

Picture was of a portion of the Mogollon Rim near Payson, AZ.

Not pictured was the bow. This thing is no joke. Had pulleys and everything. That little revolver was a piece. In order to actually fire a round you almost always had to line the barrel up with the firing pin. Accurate within... 10 feet.

Also, 144 beers and a fifth of Sailor Jerry consumed in less than 36 hours.

I love camping with the right people. Camping with people I don't like is a chore.
