Ok, What's a fair price? for some rims that are 1000 miles away, (so you can't see them). They have hit curbs, like normal rims, (so don't lowball him?)

Maybe the seller is a truck driver who has a regular route between Winnipeg and Manitoba?

They retail for 400, but since they are used and damaged, he will not take anything less than 400.

If you don't have adequate information about the product to be able to make a decision about what is a fair price, don't make an offer.

I have no idea. I'm not in the market for anything remotely like that right now, so I have no basis to know how they should be priced. Offer what's fair to you (based on the little information you have). If he doesn't like it, go shop elsewhere. If you aren't willing to take the gamble on the purchase sight-unseen, don't make an offer.

Wow, I guess "what makes sense" to one person, can actually make no sense to another. But, your from Ontario too!!

P.S>
I would never buy rims(especially used, dinged up, curb hit, can't lowball ones) that are a thousand miles away. I thought the ad was a joke at first!
