Of course. I know several and its not something new. I thought that everyone realized that many of those who are staunchly homophobic are often that way so no one will question their own sexuality.

wouldn't it be more like a black person prejudiced against other blacks? i know an asian who doesn't like other asians from different countries than he's from, akin to a korean hating taiwanese, chinese, japanese and so on.

Being a minority doesn't automatically make it impossible to be prejudicial.

It's not really about predjudice, it aboout self-loathing or low self-esteem. As a fat person myself, I don't know how many times I have seen fat people, especially fat women, be mean to other fat people. most Black men can tell a story about being treated badly by a black cop or some other authority figure, sometimes it is so bad that white cops may intervene on your behalf! Similarly, I have been ignored by black clerks and then see them fall down over themselves serving whites.
