A bass valued at about $600, shipped from the US to me in Canada via UPS, how much will I have to pay in customs? |

I ended up just getting it shipped to right at the US boarder at "Menke's Parcel". They held it for me and i drove down and picked it up.
You can ALSO pick up/clear the package yourself and get past the brokerage fees if your heart so desires. It IS more work though.

That's the only way I accept to have the thing I buy shipped.
If someone or a comapany ship UPS only I'm not buying.
Fedex is not as bad a UPS but USPS is the best way to go.

If someone could tell me if it's possible to ship via USPS with a big box, then I'd be happy. Superconductor doesn't seem to mind how long it'll take, so long as it isn't a year. BTW, a bass of mine is the one in question from the OP.
