Cancer Hope

A friend of the family was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer. We thought for sure it was the end.

She started taking Sutent, one of the new cancer drugs. This drug "starves" the cancer by cutting off it's blood supply.

After a few months of treatments the the tumors have shrunk; the largest is half the size, the smallest has disappeared and some of the other ones are almost gone.

We don't know if it will work in getting rid of all the cancer, but I do think that modern medicine is offering hope for those with cancer.
