Just now, in a totally random converstaion, I got remided of a Saturday Night Live skit from about a million years ago.

They were having a 'reunion' of the Little Rascals. Spanky, Alfalfa, Darla, Buckwheat,...etc. And the 'Alfalfa; character told the 'Darla' character, who had obviously grown up to be a street prostitute, that he had found all but one of the gang. He couldn't find their old dog ________. "What ever happened to old_________? Do you know?" ANd she raises one end of the fur stole she's wearing and it has a familiar looking dog's head on the end of it.

What was that dog's name? It's driving me nuts.

BTW, for those who might miss it in the article, this was taken from the text:

But the one thing for certain, the black ring around Pete's left eye was not the work of a makeup artist. The natural skin coloration was such an oddity that it became certified by Ripley's Believe It or Not.

But....other articles on Pete say it was makeup. Oh well.....

I remembered right after I posted that.

How about other names that get lost in your head? I hate when I do that, but it seems to happen more and more as I get older.

I never forget a face or a name. I just forget how they're connected.

I've been a medic a loooong time and a musician for longer and have just seen too many faces, and there are only so many ways to arrange two eyes, a nose, and a mouth. So about every third or fourth person looks familiar and I generally don't know why.

Just hing how much it sucks when I see someone who looks like someone who looks like someone so I don't know why they look familiar, then I see someone who I used to play with and I don't recognize them right away and they think I dissed them...It's bad.
