But since that is not in the polls, Id say either one of the subaru wagons or the Mazda.
Just curious, why isn't the Toyota Matrix on there? Is it because there ugly?

| | | | I just had a very similar situation. I had a 2000 Chevrolet Venture mini-van with 145,000 miles and it was shot. I looked around at many new and used vehicles and ended up with something I did not plan on finding. I bought a one year old 2012 Kia Sedona mini-van that was from a rental fleet but sold by the local Kia dealer. It is loaded with lots of options with 24,000 miles and looks brand new. A year ago when it was new, it sold for about $28.000 but I bought it for $16,495. My trade in was not much on my old van and I worked out a deal for the Kia less trade + taxes, title, plates, etc. for a total of $17,000 out the door. Plus, it has the remainder of a 5 year 60,000 miles bumper to bumper warranty and 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. |

I am sure many will disagree but I feel a toyota corolla is and has been the best made cars the past 20 years.

A rebuilt trans is 3k. And it's got a few sizeable dings, the DVD player is broken, leather seat is torn, a few instrument panel lights are blown, etc. I wont even be able to get 3k in a private sale. And I was just going to replace the front strut assemblies when the trans blew out. So not worth repairing.

Well ,scrap it ...sell it for scrap that is... Around here a lot if car lots offer $2000 for push pull or drive in trade . Im sure it's a gimmick .
I can't make any recommendations in your choices due to lack of experience with them.
Are you looking at buying private party or car lot?
Good luck and be tough. |

I am sure many will disagree but I feel a toyota corolla is and has been the best made cars for the value the past 20 years. | The most underrated cars are the last generation of Mazda Protégés, right before they changed the name to the 3. They were still made in Japan and Ford hadn't gotten their hands all over them yet.

| | | | Whoa 18k for a new xB? My parent's bought a 2 or 3 year old (used ofc) xB last year for about 10k or so and they literally bought that on the whim since our old car literally blew up. Pretty reliable car so far and even though it look's pretty small it can fit a full sized bike in the back with the seats down. |
