***, this is quite surreal.

never mind the language, just check the pictures. http://www.freiepresse.de/TREFFPUNKT...al=4647&bild=1

in case you wonder, the driver was injured but nothing life-threatening.

the guy drove over a an elevation (i don't know the correct term) on the ground and the car lunged 35 meters through the air. you can see it in one of the pictures, you can see a tree and some metal bars that he damaged also. well that's where he had lift-off. this was in a village and the guy must have been doing very much in excess of 100 km/h.the police is investigating if this is a failed suicide attempt. and i'm not kidding.

edit on picture 14 you can see the ramp that helped him with lift off

That ramp is nowhere near enough to launch that guy. No way!

With some of the cars my German friends and customers have, it doesn't suprise me The Germans seem to be into very high horsepower and performance station wagons. My buddies Audi will blow the doors off most anything on the German roads. Another guy has a Mercedes wagon that's brutally fast.
