Car just got broken into

I was at work, having a good day. One of my coworkers is homeless. I had to close the store and when I left he was sitting with a group of other people in sleeping bags on the street. I started to talk to him and I said that it sucked that it had been raining so hard. One of his friends looked at me like I had just insulted him and said "Did you leave your BEDROOM window open? No? looks like you don't have anything to worry about."

I left already kinda pissed. Who is he to say that? I give him his quarters when he asks.

When I got back to my car I found the passenger window smashed and glass was all over the place. My car CD player was sitting in my front seat. The intruder had ripped the front off but then for some reason didn't take it with them.

Nothing like this has happened to me before. It kinda pisses me off a little.

Sorry for the ramble. Any ideas for a new window?

Our car has been broken into twice. One time the window was smashed, leaving little glass cubes EVERYWHERE, they escaped with nothing but a handful of silver coins. The second time was my fault, I forgot to lock the door. And someone actually was low enough to hop in, steal our stereo, all our CDs, all the coins in the car, and for some reason, the service log for the car.

Pathetic if you ask me, what do they ever get out of it? A couple of bucks and a stereo face they can't even use. And a few CDs. Last time my friend and I were really drunk and walking home from a friends house, he saw a parked cars door unlocked and he hopped in and took everything out of it. He got a pack of gum, some cheap sunglasses and a deck of cards. I wanted to grab him by the neck and pull him out of the car before he could steal anything. But I didn't dare stay anywhere near him when he was in the car, if a policeman saw, I didn't want to get involved having done nothing wrong.
